IMOT has seven full-time faculty members: one foreign visiting professor, one national distinguished professor who has won National Science Council Distinguished Research Awards three times and Distinguished Research Fellow (Highest Honor Offered) by the National Science Council twice, and one associate professor. In addition, IMOT has seven adjunct professors (three professors and four associate professors) and seven part-time professors.
We encourage students to take classes from other related departments, schools, and universities in order to equipped students with technological expertise, global vision, and managerial skills to meet the challenges of this new age.
2. Future Plans for Faculties
In order to upgrade our program into international level, IMOT has one international visiting professor. Furthermore, we are planning to recruit one more international distinguished professor in order to promote bilingual lecturing for basic courses.
3. Students
As for students in IMOT master program, there are 18 special selection students (admitted by special selection), 20 regular students (admitted by exam), and 2 part-time students in the year 2013. The program has been accepting students from all over the world, such as 1 India students and 1 Indonesia this year. This year's Ph.D. program, 9 students are admitted through the exam, and 2 students continue the Ph.D. study from master program. The Ph.D. program also includes one South African Overseas Chinese student. In addition, 25 students are in the on-job Master program.
